US YOUTH SOCCER APPOINTS ANDREW HIATT AS CHIEF MEMBER SERVICES OFFICER

FRISCO, Texas (May 20, 2019) – US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sport organization in the country is pleased to announce today the appointment of Andrew (“Drew”) Hiatt to the position of Chief Member Services Officer (CMSO). In this role, Hiatt will have oversight of the day-to-day soccer operations of US Youth Soccer, including all programming and events for recreational players and US Youth Soccer’s coveted regional and national competitions. In addition, Hiatt will work collaboratively with US Youth Soccer’s 55 Member State Associations, strengthening alliances with them and their member clubs, leagues and associations, to create additional value and foster an environment of continued growth and mutual trust.

“Since joining US Youth Soccer nearly 5 years ago, I have been incredibly impressed with Drew’s professionalism, depth of knowledge of the soccer landscape and his genuine desire to see US Youth Soccer grow and prosper. I am, therefore, pleased to announce his appointment to this important new role,” said Chris Moore, Chief Executive Officer of US Youth Soccer.

Hiatt has spent the majority of his professional career leading the Utah Youth Soccer Association as its Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure, Hiatt led Utah Youth Soccer through a change in its bylaws, governance and overall mission, to allow for a more member focused approach. These changes were instrumental in stimulating a 50% growth in Utah Youth Soccer’s membership, led to gains in participation and drove interest in State-sponsored leagues and tournaments.

“My family and I are excited to begin a new chapter in our lives and in my professional career,” said Hiatt. “US Youth Soccer is a special organization with a proud history and an incredible foundation of 55 State Soccer Associations,” said Hiatt.

US Youth Soccer conducted a nationwide search for the CMSO, a newly-created position. After a thorough interview process designed to attract and recruit the most qualified candidate, Andrew Hiatt was ultimately selected.

“I am excited to partner with the CEO, Board of Directors and our Member State Associations to help build on the positive momentum of the organization,” said Hiatt. “I am confident that my past success combined with my knowledge of the national soccer landscape will give US Youth Soccer an advantage in making us the preeminent youth sport in the United States.”

Drew and his wife Cassie have 4 children: Conrad (11), DeNoalious ‘Nolie’ (9), Dieter (5) and Bennett (3). They will be relocating to the North Dallas area later in the summer.

Originally from Bonners Ferry, ID, Hiatt holds a Master’s in Physical Education Athletic Administration from Idaho State University and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
