TSA Executive Director Raising Funds to Support Ukrainian Children
Placeholder Image

Alan Gould, Toronto Soccer Association Executive Director, recently completed a four-day 83km walk to raise funds for Ukrainian children devastated by the war.

Gould’s innovative effort, which he carried out over the Easter weekend, was to walk a carefully planned route that passed by every one of the TSA’s 21 youth club registered offices.

Very appropriately, Gould finished the route at the USC Karpaty club house, where he was welcomed by club members and members of the Toronto Ukrainian community. USC Karpaty is one of two TSA youth clubs that was founded by, and still serves Toronto’s Ukrainian and local communities. The event was even recognized on TV, with both CBC News and CP24 covering the story.

With an initial goal of $2000 raise, Alan Gould has raised over $7200 so far!

Reminder: Ontario Soccer Player Membership Registration Fees for 2022 Outdoor Season
feeincreaseimage.png
On Dec. 12, 2020, the Voting Members of Ontario Soccer (District Presidents) approved new player membership registration fees for Ontario Soccer’s Outdoor Season. The Voting Members, noting the impact of the pandemic and to minimize the effect on their members, approved the new fees to go into effect for the 2022 Outdoor Season.

For the last decade, as the demand for better services and programs has grown, Ontario Soccer’s resources have not kept pace to match that demand, not to mention the cost of inflation over this period of time. Since 2012, there has been no increase in the Ontario Soccer Outdoor player membership registration fees.
