Match Officials can register for four new webinars. The next one kicks off Thursday |
Building on the success of yesterday’s webinar, Ontario Soccer will host for more webinars over the next month to help registered Match Officials prepare for the 2021 season.
The next webinar focuses on match preparedness and will kick-off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21.

The League1 Ontario Board of Directors is searching for a passionate volunteer involved in women’s soccer to serve on the Board of Directors and be a liaison to the Women’s Division.
League1 Ontario is the province of Ontario’s pro-am, standards-based, senior league and serves as a stepping-stone between the high-performance youth level and elite amateur and professional levels of the game.

State of Emergency continues for Province of Ontario |
The Government of Ontario has announced that it has declared a State of Emergency, issued Stay-At-Home orders and introduced enhanced enforcement measures to deal with organized public gatherings.
As a result, all in-person soccer activities remain suspended until further notice. Ontario Soccer will announce when in-person Return to Play activities can once again commence.

Individuals and organizations are encouraged to review the most up-to-date Return to Play Guide and review any updates that you may have missed throughout the year.
Ensure your organization’s Return to Play plan is aligned with the Return to Play Guide so that when we’re able to safely return to the field, your organization will be ready.

Community Coach Workshops still Available Online |

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce that the Community coaching workshops are still available online.
To ensure that the Community Coaching Workshops are more accessible and to allow greater flexibility on when these courses can be delivered, the coaches will be able to work at their own pace to complete the course material.
Online learning is now available for Active Start, Fundamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer For Life.

COVID-19 Liability Protection Legislation receives Royal Assent |

The Government of Ontario has announced that the Supporting Ontario’s Recovery Act 2020 has now received Royal Assent.
This Act, which is now law, will provide liability protection for workers, volunteers and organizations that make an honest effort to follow public health guidelines and laws relating to exposure to COVID-19.
This topic has been a top priority among amateur sport organizations in Ontario. Ontario Soccer has been actively advocating for months, in front of various key decision making bodies, to protect all levels of amateur sport who are following Return to Play Safety protocols during the global pandemic.
