Four OPDL Cup Finals will kick-off Saturday at Ontario Soccer Centre

The Boys and Girls U-15 and U-17 OPDL Cup Finals will take place this Saturday at the Ontario Soccer Centre Stadium in Vaughan.

The OPDL Cup, in its third year, is a single-game knockout format, which is intended to introduce another level of intense competition into OPDL.

League1 Ontario Women’s Semi-Finals have arrived

The League1 Ontario Women’s Playoffs continue to heat up with the Semi-Final match-ups now set and games kicking off this weekend.

The Oakville Blue Devils will take on the Woodbridge Strikers while Vaughan SC will face FC London.

Match Officials from across the province honoured at TFC game

Ontario Soccer and Toronto FC honoured match officials at the 4th Annual Match Officials Appreciation Day on Saturday.

Following the ceremony where winners were presented with their awards at BMO Field, attendees stayed to cheer on Toronto FC as they faced Orlando City FC.

Register your team for this year’s Provincial Indoor Soccer League

The Provincial Indoor Soccer League (PISL) is one of the most competitive and prestigious indoor soccer leagues in the province.

The PISL offers 11-a-side indoor soccer for U13 to U18 divisions for both girls and boys at clubs and academies. The main hub of the league is the Ontario Soccer Centre but games will also be played at three other facilities across Southern Ontario, giving the league a wide area to draw top-level competition from.

Battle of Ontario concludes tonight in Canadian Championship

Toronto FC jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the Ottawa Fury in the first leg of the semi-finals of the 2019 Canadian Championship.

They will look to secure their place in the final tonight when they play the second leg at BMO Field.

Female Leadership Day is coming to Ottawa

Ontario Soccer is excited to host a series of Female Leadership Days in partnership with Districts, Club/Academy Organizations.

The next Female Leadership Day will be hosted in Ottawa, in association with Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association, on Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Banquet and Conference Hall.

Attendees will hear from Nancy Spotton, CEO of MPWR and Carmelina Moscato, TV analyst and former National team player on topics such as female empowerment and leadership and will gain useful insights and lasting inspiration to take back to their communities.

24 Ontario organizations selected for National Youth Club Licenses

Canada Soccer has announced the 39 clubs in Alberta, B.C. and Ontario who have been granted the Canada Soccer National Youth Club License.

24 of the organizations hailed from Ontario.

As the highest amateur youth club designation in the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program, the National Youth Club License recognizes the highest achieving organizations from across Ontario.

Ontario Soccer releases 2019-2021 Strategic Plan

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce its, Board of Directors approved, new Strategic Plan for 2019-2021, which will serve as a road map for soccer in the province over the next three years.

The Strategic Plan will focus on four key areas of the sport and within those areas, each have three Strategic Initiatives where Ontario Soccer will look at tackling opportunities on and off the field.
