The LA Galaxy fought back from two down with less than 10 minutes to earn a 2-2 share of the points at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday night. RECAP

New York City FC crept to within a point of the league lead with a 2-0 victory at Orlando City on Thursday night. Late first half goals six minutes apart from Maxi Moralez and Anton Tinnerholm did the trick for the visitors. RECAP

Portland will put both their bulletproof home record and a 13-game unbeaten run on the line when Houston invade on Saturday night (11 pm ET | TV & streaming info). PREVIEW

TFC, D.C. look for home traction

Toronto FC can move to within six points of the last playoff slot in the East with a win in Saturday’s quick home return against Chicago (7 pm ET | TSN4 in Canada, full TV & streaming info). The Fire suffered their fourth straight loss when the MLS Cup holders escaped Toyota Park with a 2-1 decision last weekend. PREVIEW

Meanwhile, D.C. United will try to get back on the Audi Field winning track in Saturday’s tilt against a Colorado side that usually hates business trips to the capital (8 pm ET | TV & streaming info). The Rapids have won but once in their last 16 D.C. trips. PREVIEW

Can Loons make it four in a row?

Minnesota United will be shooting for the first four-game win streak in club history when they roll into Vancouver on Saturday (10 pm ET | TSN2 in Canada, full TV & streaming info).
