Here is everything you need to know about MLS and North American soccer this morning:

It’s Official: NYCFC’s Vieira off to Nice

A long-rumored union finally hit the wire, as NYCFC head coach Patrick Vieira has left for OGC Nice. The Arsenal and France legend led New York City to a pair of playoff appearances, and a second-place standing in the Eastern Conference, just two points behind Shield leaders Atlanta United.

In what we now know was Vieira’s send-off, the two squads played a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Yankee Stadium on Saturday. Brad Guzan repeatedly stood on his head to record nine saves for the visitors, who also got help from the woodwork three times. RECAP

LAFC wins a Cali smash-and-grab

In a wild one at San Jose, LAFC ended a four-game win drought by scoring twice in the final moments to steal away with a 4-3 victory.
