Despite dominating the game, Valencia lose to Schalke, including a miss from Aduriz after being clean through on a Joaquín pass. This is how we are losing second place to the Bundesliga.

Now Villarreal v. Leverkusen and Madrid v. Lyon become very important for the coefficient ranking.
